Cockroach Treatment Central Coast
From $250
Cockroaches on the Central Coast are rarely a one-off sighting. Warm, humid conditions around Terrigal, Gosford, Woy Woy and Wyong mean they breed quickly in kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and wall cavities, and a few seen at night usually points to many more hiding out of sight. Our licensed technicians start with a full inspection of the likely harbourage areas: behind and under appliances, inside cupboards and drawers, around plumbing penetrations, in garages and in roof or subfloor voids.
Once we know the species and how widespread the problem is, we build a treatment plan around your property. That typically means a targeted gel bait in cracks and crevices, a residual spray along the edges and entry points where roaches travel, and treatment of the outside perimeter so new insects are intercepted before they come inside. We explain each product we use, how long to keep pets and children away from treated areas, and which surfaces to avoid cleaning straight afterwards so the treatment keeps working.
You will see more cockroach activity for a short time after treatment as hidden insects come out and take the bait. That is normal, and most households notice a clear drop within one to two weeks. Egg cases can hatch later, so we advise a follow-up visit where infestations are heavy.
To help the treatment last, store food in sealed containers, fix leaking taps and pipes, take out rubbish daily, clean grease from behind the stove and clear cardboard boxes from garages and cupboards. Cockroaches need only moisture, warmth and crumbs to thrive.
We service homes, units, restaurants and takeaway shops, strata complexes and rentals across the Central Coast. Book online or call for a free assessment of your property.

Why cockroaches love the Central Coast
Warm, humid summers, beachside units, older blocks with shared walls and homes close to bushland and stormwater drains all give cockroaches food, water and shelter. Big Australian and smoky brown cockroaches usually wander in from gardens, drains and roof spaces, while German cockroaches live and breed indoors, mostly in kitchens. Knowing which one you have decides how the treatment is done.
How Dylan treats cockroaches
Inside, gel bait is placed in the cracks and gaps where cockroaches hide: cupboard hinges, behind the fridge and stove, under sinks and around the dishwasher and hot water system. Outside, a targeted treatment goes around entry points like weep holes, door frames, pipes, drains and the eaves. For German cockroaches the approach is different, so see our German cockroach treatment page.
Getting the best result
Keep benches and floors free of crumbs, store food in sealed containers, take the bin out at night and fix any dripping taps. Don't spray supermarket insecticide over the gel bait, as it stops cockroaches eating it. You may see more cockroaches for a few days as they come out and feed; that's normal and means the bait is working. If activity hangs on, Dylan will come back and check.
