How do you get rid of fleas in the house?
Fleas need treating in the home and on pets. Vacuum thoroughly, wash bedding hot, then have a professional treat carpets, floors and pet areas, because eggs and pupae survive in carpet. A follow-up vacuum after treatment helps break the cycle.
How long after flea treatment can I clean the carpet?
Wait at least two weeks before steam cleaning or deep cleaning carpets so the treatment can keep working on hatching fleas. Light vacuuming is fine and helps trigger emerging fleas to come into contact with the product.
Can I stay home during a flea treatment?
